Senior Partner of one of the premier law firms in Dar-es-Salaam, Dr. Twaib is a keen supporter of various charity organisations. He has recently been appointed by the President of Tanzania as a Judge in the Commercial Court.
Capt. Feisal A. Saad - Trustee
Manager, Ras Laffan Port – Qatar
A marine professional with over 25 years experience in the shipping and logistics industry worldwide. A devoted husband, father of three adult children and the initiator for the Project Tumaini to construct the new orphanage building.


Mrs. Mwanaisha Hamadi - Treasurer
Matron, New Life Orphans Home
A compassionate lady with a strong passion to help orphaned children. She established the existing orphanage in 2001 against all odds. Has attempted to maintain the children’s self-esteem by providing them love and care in a home type environment.
Mr. Swahibu Bwami - Trustee
Tumaini Project Manager
Mr. Bwami is professional accountant and has been involved in the banking industry for over 10 years in Tanzania and recently in Qatar. He currently works privately as a projects consultant and financial analyst. A devout Muslim and humanist, he currently resides in Dar-es-Salaam.
Mrs. Maryam Awadh - Trustee
Charity Worker
Mrs. Awadh is a keen activist for all types of charity works and has special empathy for orphaned children. She is an active fund raiser for the organisation and provides essential support to the Matron of NLOH.
Sh. Issa Othman Issa - Trustee
Community Leader
Sheikh Issa is an Islamic scholar and a teacher. He is an Imam of a local mosque in Dar-es-Salaam. He is also a chairman of Mwinyi Baraka Foundation which aims at educating Muslim kids and empower them with vocational training.
Mr Saleh Said Kondo - Secretary
Administration - New Life Orphans Home
Saleh is an IT undergraduate and responsible for a number of administration duties at the orphanage. Together with his elder brothers, he forms the backbone of support for Mrs. Mwanaisha to run the Centre.
