Dateline: 19th October 2008
To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Business Times Limited distributors in Tanzania, the staff from this reputed local paper visited the orphanage and talked to the children. The visitors were pleased at the functioning of the centre and commented on the healthy outlook of the children. The paper owners and staff also brought gifts and food for the children. This was indeed a momentous occasion and encourages other institutions to help the needy children of Tanzania.

The orphanage administrators would like to thank all their friends and supporters for the donations and contributions sent to the orphanage either directly or through the local contact person. We have received contributions from citizens of Tanzania, Great Britain, Canada, Qatar, Oman, Malaysia, South Africa, Ireland, Holland and Indonesia just to name a few. Please be assured that your donations does make a difference to the daily lives of the children.

Finally the web site is up and running. We would like to express our gratitude to all those who have been involved in this project to bring the plight of New Life children to the world’s attention. We hope this web site will be able to keep you updated with the latest on-going issues of the orphanage.
